- Your statement file is read only to prepare this review and is never stored. Only what you confirm is saved.
- We use transaction details and your statement's closing balance — the balance on the date your statement ends — so you can see how your money changes over time, and we never call that balance your current balance. We remove account and card numbers that our statement-processing system recognizes and labels. We cannot guarantee that every number or identifier will be detected.

Access by approval
- Request access from the waitlist. Only approved emails can create an account, and the answer is the same whether or not we know an email.
- Approved emails receive one invitation to sign up, even if approved twice at the same moment, and every email we send names an address for questions.
- Forgot your password? Reset it by email. The link works once, expires after 30 minutes, and signs you out everywhere.
- A Privacy & Data Handling Notice explains how your data is handled, and before your first upload we say plainly that there are no backups, so keep your own exports.
- Stronger security: sign-in limits can't be sidestepped, logs never carry your financial data, statement previews carry no readable figures, and every page sends security headers.

The honest picture
- Import PDF statements from HDFC, ICICI and SBI, and credit-card statements from HDFC and ICICI. Locked PDFs open with the password once; we never keep it.
- Statements now belong to accounts. See each account's months, the gaps between them, and its balance as of each statement's date, never a made-up "current" balance.
- Card bills and transfers between your own accounts are paired, so the same money isn't counted twice. Pair or unpair any two yourself.
- "How complete is this picture" shows which months and accounts are covered, and what we can't see, such as card payments made from elsewhere.
- "Did I pay twice?" now checks your whole history.
- Move a merchant's past transactions to a new category at once, and undo the move in one step. Every figure opens to the exact rows behind it.
- A statement we can't read exactly is refused, instead of imported with wrong figures.

Fixes you can trust
- Type amounts the way you write them: 1,000, 1,00,000 and .5 all work, and a failed save keeps what you typed.
- HDFC and Axis spreadsheets now reconcile against their running balance, like ICICI, SBI and Kotak.
- "Open in Transactions" after an import shows exactly the rows that import added.
- Sample data can no longer change your real assets, liabilities or goals.
- Re-importing a statement is clearer: lines you removed earlier stay removed, and the screen says so.
